This is my second event and the second time I-58 is depicted like this (post #1923016).

I'm suspecting this strategy is rather common.

And that's why I only bring Maru-yu with me when we need a submarine to go cruising. Little cutie never complains and always tries her gosh darn best.

I used Ro-500 for E-5 Hard. She was quite the survivor. Didn't use a single Repair Team due to not sinking lol.

not only common. Some people said it's stupid not to do so in this event. That's how bad the desperation is.

Though there are cases of people sinking their submarines because they thought they could get away with it without repair team this event..

full sub team cruising or sub tank ?

Sub tank.

My goya never sinks. The worst is when I enter the boss node with only 2 HP left, and goya just dance all around them bullets. :D
