Muppo.. You shoulda drain some of the oil in the can first,add the mayo, and mix em up with a fork.. I also like to add some sliced spring onion.. It's kinda funny when i saw a theme with my nickname in it..

Wouldn't have been a better idea to pour the tuna into a bowl and then add Mayo? Also she can just scrap the mayo off which isn't too bad considering what she usually go through.
As for the mayo… it’s good, in a way that I believe the local here use chili paste (to cover up the unpleasant taste or less than fresh ingredients).
In my case, I add them to lightly cooked vegetable. It adds smooth texture and cover the slight bitterness.

Reduce the number of dishes to wash. IINM, she will have to clean the can or else it will get rejected during the trash day.
