    Mutsuki wants to show off her Second Remodel

    Mutsuki: "Fubuki-chan... Yuudachi-chan... Behold my King For-... My Kai-2...!"

    The original reference is of a quote by Kamen Rider Leangle, Kamijou Mutsuki, from Kamen Rider Blade.
    Unlike the other Riders, Leangle lacked an enhanced form. Then in Ep. 42, while holding the power-up items he finally obtained, he says, 'Blade...Behold my King Form...!', which then became associated with gaining an 'enhanced form'...

    Looks like the next Kancolle anime episode will introduce Kai-ni.
    I wonder if Mutsuki will become Kai-ni...Or will she become like Leangle...

    I haven't seen any Rider series besides Kabuto in a long time, so I was only able to pick out Mutsuki's actor from the conversation. I might get some things wrong.

    They chat about the friendly working atmosphere despite the large cast in Blade. Mutsuki's actor, Takahiro Houjou, then goes into how all the older 'corrupt' adults on the production team deceived him and dirtied his young boy's heart.

    He was 18 at the time. He was the only one without a Jack or King form, and since he really likes the Kamen Rider series, he was always like 'Jack or King, whichever is fine, please make one'. Then, when ep.42 was being filmed, around the time a Category Ace was sealed, all the adults with really big smiles were like, 'looks like Leangle got a King form! They really made one!' Then his 18-year old self got all excited and hyped up, yet the stunt filming and scenario wasn't revealed to him until finally, when he asked an artist if Leangle's King form design was made, he got a 'huh?' in return. It was then he realised he had been deceived.

    Next part I'm not so sure on, but apparently the three main writers(?) were wearing trollish grins at the time, and how everyone else watching Blade(?) were expecting Leangle to get a power up, yet it never came to pass.
