The very title of the episode should have been "Deus ex Machina".

I really wonder what the heck went wrong. It had been apparent for a few episodes beforehand that there was something wrong, and episode 12 just confirmed that something went completely wrong somewhere, and they had to rush the ending completely. Hell, I bet it was supposed to end completely differently.

It's gonna end with some kanmusu dying. Probably.
But after what reaction they've got with someone sinking in the early eps and overusing the death flag, the creators ended S1 ambiguously so they can make S2...
