12/17: Since discovering Minarai's Kantai Collection fan-works, I've really grown to like these two as a couple. As popular (and insanely adorable) as Hoppo-chan is, I like to think that Wo-class will always hold a special place amongst the Abyssal girls (and in the hearts of all us Shinkaisei-kan fans).

Anyway, I have to give props to Wo-class for *knowingly* walking into the men's baths. Normally, this would be an accident and a prelude to ecchi/rom-com shenanigans. As for the Admiral... The guy is cut, with a six-pack and everything. A little something for the ladies to look at, I suppose.

Having read the Prequel to this series, I have to wonder: Considering how eager Wo was to have the Admiral ejaculate inside and get her pregnant, in addition to being the first of the Abyssal ships to *ahem* "Engage on her maiden voyage," would that make her the Legal or First Wife, while all the others are simply concubines?

Combined with the fact that the Admiral doesn't seem romantically interested in any of the Shipgirls on the base, I believe he'll end up with Wo. And given everything you pointed out, Wo is likely going to be his Wife-Ship in the end. And besides, Wo-class is Best Class.
