Adding the commentary. There appears to be some kind of collaboration for Retaisai about this.

I don't know if it's right, but from what I know, my guess of the reason behind this connection is how Benben made the crossing pattern with her danmaku. She shoots out 3 or 4 lines of curving laser right and left, thus when they crossed each others it made a pattern resembling the one on the Apple pie.
