That's what we call a Variable.
But, no seriously, that's a good question, though it's impossible to know (naturally). And, saying that it was, I'd probably still call it detached cause I can't see any other way her sleeves would be there.

Her whole getup is a very unique fashion statement, I hope he plans to upload more like them, in due time.

Hem lace trim onto the upper sleeve, then cover the hem with an armband. You now have a decorated, continuous sleeve.
