This must be a planned joke, by Square Enix. Every Final Fantasy Cid, has been a grizzled old man, and all of a sudden, we got a bust young lady. I just find that very funny.

don't forget the majority of them were all good with machines as well, to which this one continues the tradition. Also maybe her last name could be a play on "Sidney Poitier" last name, like Portier.
