I find it funny (in a weird way) how she could prevent Growlithe from being wet with her umbrella but doesn't give a shit about that poor dying Golem.

She seems to be ignoring both, actually.

Goomy is too distracting.

Unless you're a fire pokemon that is literally on fire, most of the others seem to have a solid enough body to not really care too much about simply getting wet. It was only rock and ground types that have ever been shown to get scared by even 1 drop of water.
