I find this to be hilarious.... does anyone else?

I mean Asuka is clearly embarrassed and looking away.

While at the same time, Shinjis' just sitting there with an expression and posture so flat you'd think he was doing something completely benign like staring into the fridge.

And yet it seems plausible, given their respective personalities - Shinji being bullied into submission and Asuka trying to put up a front.

I'm tired...
I wonder, what Ayanami is doing...
Where is my Walkman?
