More like this means the Harusame of this series has already sunk and became Warusame... ;___;
I'm a fan of the 'KanMusu you find on missions are actually Abyssal KanMusu that have been purified by your miko and onmyouji type KanMusu and remembered themselves, and any non-IJN KanMusu are returned to their home nations' take on the KanColle non-existant canon. Makes it a lot easier to beat up poor Hoppou-chan when you think of it that way and also works as an in-universe explanation as to why you don't get a drop on every node.
It became a little heavy I guess...... This is why I'm not a fan of connecting the shinkaisei-kan with ship-girls.
But the belic context of this game gives some sense to this story. Heartwarming or not (Sad or happy applies too), I prefer this way to develop more stories.
You know, this is really Hilarious in Hindsight seeing that her Autumn CG this year has her eating roasted yam. However, I don't think it's pool-worthy, just notable.
