Also, I think whether the destroyer hime has legs or is an amputee is a "how you interpret the picture" thing, since it could also be her folding her legs backwards due to the angle of the art.

I get the feeling the wheelchair and bugs are supposed to be a reference to something, but I don't know what.

Also that thousand yard stare on her face is one of the most frightening expressions i've seen in awhile.

Well, if the "sunken fleet girls become abyssal fleet" theory is correct, then yeah. Can't blame Harusame for that expression if she fell to the depths of despair and become the monster she's supposed to fight against.

The release of Destroyer Hime definitely proved the "sunken fleet girls => Abyssal Fleet" theory. With the dialogues of the event bosses, I wonder if this means the secret and story of Shikaisei-kan are going to be slowly more revealed o.o

And that face of despair... I'd say the fact she lost her legs is also the reason.
