    Mourning her comrades who were sank earlier

    Escorted the 16th Suadron of Palau transport. Is the sole survivor of the those participated in Surigao Strait battle of the Nishimura fleet.
    January 24th 1945, the Gulf of Thailand, while escorting the 87A convoy in the eastern sea of Malay Peninsula, taken a torpedo attack from Blackfin (USS Blackfin-SS322) and sunk. Later on, thanks to her performance in the war, there was a saying of "Yukikaze of Kure, Shigure of Sasebo".

    There's a little different from the information here and the information on English Wikipedia which is Shigure's date of sinking. On English Wikipedia, it's January 25th instead of January 24th like shared here. But I'll stick with what's here instead.

    Yeah, that's pretty common. The artists and Japanese sources use JST dates while English sources use EST dates. It's at most one day difference, so I doubt people will get confused.
