    It opens from the other side, see? It right-out says, "Open Port" here. Suwako misreads it as "akero", the imperative form of "akeru", meaning "to open".
    I keep telling you, don't pry it open with your nail like that.
    Lady Suwako, it actually reads "Open Mouth". It actually reads "ake-guchi", or "open mouth". The kanji for "mouth" and the katakana for "ro" are both simple squares, which is what's confused Suwako.
