The relationship tangles you can generate in Fire Emblem: Awakening are hilarious. I plotted it out, once: For a male PC, you can get something like 22-23 characters all related to each other by blood/marriage across three generations* and four or five family lines. You can practically create your own clan!
*Well, sort of. The PC is Gen1, and Lucina is Gen2- they make Morgan, who is considered Gen3 but, technically, is really more like Gen2.5...she's the third generation in Chrom's line, but only the second in the PC's. Then, Morgan marries someone from the actual Gen2, so any children produced there would be...what? Fourth generation from Chrom, but only third from the PC. 3.5?
