Akatsuki's looking to her right. To be a left hand she has to cross it all the way to her right, contort her arm at the elbow to position the back of her hand TO the right, and then somehow stretch her pinky finger all the way to her mouth. I don't think that's possible. Even if it is, it's highly unnatural.

Right hand works well, and the index finger comes naturally. Her thumb is tucked behind her palm.
