Could someone please explain to me what this chain of conversation means?
"Is she into yuri?" "No, she's a lesbian." "No, she's actually bisexual." "That's even worse!"
OK, so yuri isn't lesbian OR bisexual? (It sure ain't straight...) Then what the Hell is it?! And how is being bisexual worse? It seems like a baffling string of cultural values is getting lost in translation.

Nobody said it was worse, just that the only way the admiral could get a guy is if it was a sadomasochistic type of relationship, with him literally being in a leash.

It seems like Tenryuu's saying it's worse in the comic. (At least, that's what's translated...)
I'm not talking about any commenter's take on it, just what's represented in the comic. They say that yuri somehow isn't the same thing as lesbian or bisexual, which seems really confusing to me, and that bisexual is somehow worse than both yuri and lesbian.

I wasn't talking about any commentator either, I was referring to what they're saying in the comic.

Yuri is more of "innocent pure" love in the original context. Basically, it does go above kissing or skinship. Lesbian is when you get to the more vigorous sex acts.

This is pretty much it, yeah. The way they're speaking, "yuri" would be the romantic sort, while "gachirezu" (best translation is a rather inappropriate term, so I won't use it here) means a sexually predatory sort of lesbian.
…that’s even worseOoh, you’re wrong. That person is a bisexual. Bisexual.
