Well... Black Forest technically CAN field the T-34's since at times they sort of 'borrowed' the GTFO'd ones as well as probably 'borrowing by force' the crewed ones.

On that note, the same thing would apply to Anzio. The Italians picked up some along with a few BTs on the Eastern Front before Il Duce got butted out of power, proving to be much more capable than even their most advanced AFVs at the time.

Even came across one hilarious photo once of a group of Italian soldiers examining an M3 Lee somewhere in the Ukraine that was abandoned in almost perfect condition.

I remember watching a documentary of the Battle of Kursk that the Germans comandeered t-34s and found that they lacked radios. Using this to their advantage they would go behind enemy lines and since the Russians didn't have any sort of communications to fellow tankers the Germans would fire on them causing chaos. Of course this is disputable.

I don't speak Japanese, but I guess the Kuromorimine T-34 is more like a gag, think of all the war movies where they just paint a Balkenkreuz on American, Russian or other tank an say it's a German just because there are very few original German WW2 tank around. Also look at that Panzer iii / iv like turret counterweight on that tank.

Obviously needs a translation request, but it seems that you can fit a ton of people inside the tank ... and is that a sidecar?!

Nope that was a high speed sled used by Red Army shock troops, only works in winter conditions

It's also a reference to historical accounts that the Germans captured enemy tanks and used them. Not just the Germans but most sides used captured vehicles. Case in point the well known Czech pz38t.

But yeah I get what you mean. I mean in Battle of the Bulge and in the Patton film they used Patton tanks to substitute German armor.

Though a Tank with a sidecar would be for some reason crazy awesome.

I know little and care less about WWII German stuff, but according to some guys on plastic modelling forums, some real German-captured T-34s had these same modifications (German commander's cupola and Pz III bustle stowage bin) done.

As far as I know, the Italians captured one or perhaps more T-34s on the Eastern Front, which was used as a basis for the Carro Armato P40.

But it's not true that the BT was superior to their "most advanced AFVs"; the M13/40 was a match for it, and the Semovente da 75/18 (which in 1941 was beginning to be built) was clearly superior.

Many KV-2s also suffered the same fate.

Added to "Translation Difficulty" pool due to the absurdly small text in multiple areas.
