Beginner at Japanese here, not sure if that's right, "Hoda" tried searching it up to make sure, kept telling me I was trying to search up Honda instead. Ended up using a converter tool and the only result that made any sense to me was "harder" which seems to fit what's going on in the picture.

The four little things towards the bottom are just sfx, not sure how to translate them, and from what I can tell, top left is Amatsukaze trying not to laugh. If anyone knows good sfx for these, feel free to add them in.

I'm sure it say "mada" and not "hoda", which would mean something like not yet, I think.

Do yourself a favor and practice reading letters before you get yourself in too deep.

Ah I see it now. It seems either my chart had slipped down (I still use it because I have trouble memorizing the differences in characters), either that, or I completely missed the line on the left side when I was reading the chart. Glad to see I at least got the top left and sfx right, though was unsure how to translate it over.

It does take quite a bit of practice getting used to non-latin characters; good luck with it.
