They also made up the religious weaknesses to promote Christianity (not that it applies here given Remilia thinks crosses are "cute", so Touhou vampires clearly don't have the religious weaknesses).
It's also worth noting thought that Touhou vampires are treated as a variation of oni, so they share the same weaknesses that oni have.
