Sounds like they werent rare games. The irony of Rare games is that you wouldn't want to sell them in the first place unless you really didn't know their value.
Usually (not always) rare games are also the good ones that you also wouldn't want to get rid of for replay value.
A copy of Mario party 1,2 or even Super Mario RPG can go as high as 90-200$ for a clean and/or sealed copy.
