Quite strange really why Yoshinori Shizuma San didn't add in swords to Musashi, any artist who knows this iconic name (let alone a true blue Japanese artist) should probably know that this character deserves to have them. All these blatant banter talks about Musashi being less appealing to the name of the Yamato class due to her more revealing outfit and stern attitude without first understanding what her name represents is really annoying and having those swords as seen above could have made her visage more warrior like fitting of her name and outfit similar to Fairy Tail's Erza Scarlet's Clear Heart garb, but instead close minded people just think that she is just a poor soul with no money to buy decent clothes (a bit of trivia Miyamoto Musashi left his fortune when he became a wanderer) or just a delinquent who likes to show off her assets when in fact if you read her voice/hourly lines in game, she represents unwavering dedication to her duties, the love for the thrill of a good fight whilst still having the charms of a caring and sometimes teasingly playful puppy because she seeks security from her Admiral like any other woman. ♡(ŐωŐ人).
Not to take away anything from the majestic Yamato, but I sincerely do hope these design concepts for Musashi are not management's means just to make Yamato more appealing due to the fact that she is representing the face of the IJN back then and of course the country of Japan and its people, because admit it or not, to game enthusiast and main stream otaku's, a dual blade wielding (Niten Ichi-ryū) sexy chick with big guns would be pretty awesome to look at as a game character and of course even as a scale or articulated figure for collectors. If Big sister does have her own unique item (Parasol to represent refinement)so why can't Musashi have her own too? (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
