Not wanting to sound cruel, and I do understand the feelings of wanting an american version of KanColle. It's just Laffey is a blatant plagiarism of Shimakaze, it makes me ashamed.

Nevermind that, but Shimakaze is dressed that particular way because of her quest for speed, while if there were a shipgirl that'd be similar to Laffey it'd probably be Yuudachi.

US comic art is hard to change, only professional artists can draw anime/manga art.
