EDIT2: I was hoping that was a wiggly-arm-dance Kaga was pulling, and I'm not disappointed.

This needs to be a thing, like more firepower, for like double the refueling resources.

Less firepower because they occupy the guns while they only have relatively weak guns compared to the BB. But higher torpedo stats, obviously because all BB other than the REturnee from hell can't launch torpedo (0).

Lethal on the CV because they took over the flight deck, eliminating airplane attacks.

Pretty much! Though, she says shes towing them - that's doesn't look like any type of towing that I know of...

Technically, they were going on the air defense practice run, (which could be handled by DesDiv 6, alone,) which only gives bauxite out as a reward, but which still consumes fuel and ammo. So technically, they're profiting exactly as much as they would otherwise on bauxite in exchange for needlessly depleting fuel and ammo.

Also, it's hard to tell from how KanColle normally depicts things, but the real battleships were insanely huge compared to destroyers. (The Akatsuki class weighed less than 2k tons, and Nagato weighed over 32k tons. Yamato was nearly 72k tons with a full load. In the Battle off Samar, they calculated that Yamato alone outweighed the 6 light carriers and her several destroyer and destroyer escort ships that the Japanese were fighting against.) Battleships could practically carry destroyers like other ships carry life rafts.

Agreed. She's the cutest thing in a panorama of really cute things.

Whatever Kaga's faults, she dotes on the destroyers almost as much as Nagato. Hibiki is practically her daughter.
