You know, considering how incompetent Ichigo is, and how she still manages to continually evade and outsmart the zombies, anyway, it's actually a giant wonder why there even IS a zombie apocalypse in the first place. Why was everyone else on the island implicitly incapable of showing even Ichigo's level of competency in evading zombies? I'd expect the local police force to have been able to turn back this rabble.
