They might encourage their master to claim the pharaoh for himself. Double the kingdom, one more for the harem, and everyone goes to bed happy. Just mind the occasional stray Apophis, though I suspect a Pharaoh with a loyal Khepri squad would be quite safe, even leaving out the husband.
