Also, will the SG-552 actually punch through that? I heard that the G36 is capable of beading a Huey but I dunno if the Hind can also be punched through by the 5.56.
Reliable armor figures for the Mi-24 seem to be hard to come by on the Interwebs, but apparently it's protected all-around against 12.7mm fire and in some places against 23mm. How reliable this is, your guess is as good as mine, but I do seem to remember that Afghan mujahideen in the '80s had trouble with Hinds with heavier weapons - DShKs and the like.
So, probably not. Best hope there's a Stinger or LAW-alike in that car too.
