Doing the maths with what little info we have of her and her grandfather, we know for certain that she is under 60 years old and her grampa is over 300, so a single generation of half-ghosts is at the very least 120 years, which is more than double Youmu's age. So yeah, she is still a very young half-ghost and this is another valid explanation for her small stature.

Honestly at this point, she probably get more nutrients from the sun than from the food. Through I really like the soft explanation for Yuyuko's gluttony.
