"Welcome back, Ladies and Gentlemen, to the 47th annual weird pose competition, where five time world-champion, Inumuta Houka, is devastating the early rounds, along with the hopes and dreams of the young newcomers!"
Kinda disappointing overall how most battles so far boil down to "Ryuuko taking a million hits from the opponent then win by a single attack" though.
I totally agree. The battle with Satsuki in Episode 3 was kind of the peak of the show for me, but given Aikurou's grim comment about Senketsu evolving too fast, I'm inclined to hope that the formula of "Ryuuko gets the shit beaten out of her-->Senketsu makes up a new attack-->Ryuuko wins in one hit" is entirely deliberate, and the other foot is going to drop soon.

If Senketsu keeps evolving, he might try and devour Ryuuko.

I'm more afraid that it's going to degenerate into a typical Bleach battle, getting battered > doesn't give up > gain new power > instantly pwn enemy > rinse and repeat for every boss fight ever.

She got kicked to the curb so hard by Sanageyama, there's no way her beating him next episode will be emotionally satisfying without some major changes. I just hope the writer and director of TTGL can pull off better character development than Tite Kubo...

You've lost faith in Studio Trigger? Wow man, don't lose your way...

Not lost faith, just fearing the risk that it will become repetitive, given the fact that the past 3 Elite Four fights have downright followed Bleach battle formula.
- Gamagoori fight > Ryuuko is battered > Gain spiky mode > Instant win - Inumuta fight > Ryuuko is battered > Gain the giant eye smash thing > Instant win - Jakuzure fight > Ryuuko is battered > Gain flight mode > Results yet to be seen but probably still an instant or relatively quick win
And this is not to mention that as said earlier, every other fight including these 3 Elite Four fights that Ryuuko wins pretty much summed up to "Ryuuko got beaten by a million hits then gets back up and wins in a single attack".

Imagine if The umbrella carrying woman in the next episode with the tattoo is in fact a member of Nudist Beach, who happens to arrive at Honnouji Academy before Tsumugu. I'd be a little bit scared to think that she may be the one to take down both Nononon AND Ryuuko at the same time after interrupting their fight.
