She's known as Meimu. It's some overpowered fan character or something, this much I know.
Indeed this is Meimu she's a fan-made touhou char just like how Rumia EX is as well. she's in a fanfic created by mokuren that is readable at touhou wikia.....http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Fiction_by_Mokuren Basically the main character ends up working under reimu and since there wasn't a another shrine maiden outfit he (yes the main guy was a guy but thanks to yukari everyone sees him as a girl >_>) went to Korindou and found that dark/gothic shrine maiden-like outfit.
Since many dont' know about the fanfic i heard some called Meimu Reimu's EX form haha. Its a cool idea though Reimu having an EX form. Since its all fanmade think of Meimu how you feel.
Meimu is essentially what happened when Yukari grabbed a formless youkai, fiddled with its borders, and made it into a copy of Reimu. It then got rebellious and left Mayohiga. Essentially, Meimu is Reimu's youkai evil twin/doppelganger/stalker.
The fic by Mokuren made reference to that, but didn't create it.
oooooooooohhhhh really eh? nice. so she IS an official Touhou char? Where did you get that information from tho I've thought she was just another fan created character. IF she is an official character i never seen any works with her so far o_-....but please tell me where you heard that from ^_^
Oh, I see I neglected to say that Meimu is a fan-created character. It's just something that existed before Mokuren's fic, is all. The Japanese fans created it quite some time ago, and it was an idea that spread quickly, but didn't last long.
As for where I heard it, it was on the pooshlmer Touhou imageboard. They provided a link to the site where the Meimu idea came from, but that was over a year ago, so the thread's long gone by now.
ahh...oh well. well in any case i know the original thought behind Meimu now ^_^ that's garn good enough for me since that IS what i wanted to know haha.
Still....I think the Reimu Ex idea sounds cooler XD. there should be an Ex version for a lot of chars just for the heck of it haha. oh well. Thanks a lot man ^_^ really hehe.
The first time I heard of Meimu, in the above mentioned imageboard, someone said that she was created by a chinese circle, and it's again mentioned in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4nfj04yqM0 . Meimu's a cool fan-made character, imho.
