  • 東京で言うとこの歌舞伎町みたいな感じかなと思いきや、フツーの歓楽街でした。
    飲み屋とかいっぱいあったよ!
    裏にあるのかもしれませんけどね!

I wondered if it was something like Kabukichō in Tokyo, but contrary to expectations, it was an ordinary pleasure quarter.

It was also loaded with bars!

There may have been things going on in back, though!

Reader-added tags include "Apologize to Susukino", "Sanae-san comes before that place, Kogasa-san", and "Kogasa-san's umbrella's in peril".

    The survey's hunger needs satisfying:

What should we eat in Hokkaidō?
    • Fish
    • Crab
    • Ramen
    • Genghis Khan
    • What indeed? Heh heh heh

In this case, Genghis Khan, as some Azumanga readers may recall, is a Hokkaidō-style barbecued lamb.

A dish named after the Mongol Warlord of the Golden Horde... said dish didn't exist back then, nor was it made the same way. I'm OK with that. We have Tokyo Snack in Thailand which is, surprise surprise, a Thai invention. There's also the American Fried Rice, which doesn't exist in America until a Thai chef made it.

So, for the poll, let's eat Genghis Khan!

Isn't is 5000 years of Chinese history? My teachers keep on saying that

For the poll, fish and crab are good, but what does it mean by Genghis Khan?

    Would totally visit Kasen's parlor.

Though, something tells me I'd find a 45-year old cosplayer on the clock.

Definitely Genghis Khan. I had it (along with an Yebisu stout) when I was in Sapporo last year, and it was really good.

Oh, phew. I had an image that the Genghis Khan option involved him lying sideways on a platter and winking at me saying "eat me". Mental bleach... =.=

You don't want to go to a place like that, do you, Kogasa-san? Might end up being quite hazardous to your health.

For the poll, Genghis Khan sounds quite delicious.

    RLDs? Well, Count me in!

Anyway, food is first priority in the Teachings of Yuyuko.
And for the poll, Genghis Khan, let's do this.

Yes your teachers are right, it should be 5000 years of Chinese history. It could be just a mistake here.
    For the poll, Genghis Khan~!

I don't think it is. I think it's a reference to 12.3 Where that is one of Meiling's win quotes, and she says 4,000

All right, what say we go to Susukino?
    Susukino!?
    Um...you don't mind if I go?
We're just going to eat dinner.
    Heh heh heh...
    Well, I mean, Susukino's a red-light district, right?
    What do you mean?
Well, you'd pay dearly for going to a place like that.♡
