In some places is not unusual to eat cow's intestines. For example in the rural areas of venezuela is kinda common as to waste as little as possible. I have eaten quite a few times and the taste is good, tho not really especial. It should be noted that during the preparation the intestines are cleaned a few times, and never eaten like this, for obvious reasons.

In my case? I prefer liver, cooked with onions, olive oil and black pepper. Its one of my best recipes =)

Or pigs' intestines, like in the southeastern United States. I haven't tried them, but my mother says they're not bad.
