I gotta admit. I was a bit puzzled at first when she asked me to marry her. I checked the Wiki out of curiosity and breathed a sigh of relief when she was asking Odin instead of me.

I kid you not: When I studied Greek and Norse mythology in school, I had no idea who Gunnlod even was. One Google search later and she was revealed to be a norse goddess and this was simply the anime personification of her, which I have to admit is a lot cuter than she is portrayed according to Norse mythology.
