I would be less disturbed (albeit not undisturbed) by this image if the torpedoes were at least the other way around. I mean... the propellers. Aaaaaaagh.

Torpedoes were blasted out of their deck tubes by compressed air, so I assume the propeller at least isn't spinning at that point...but I don't know what search terms to use to look deeper into it without simply learning everything about torpedoes.
