I think that's the first time I've seen Kogasa's tongue used to shield someone from the rain.

There may be a corrected strip later, then, as the tongue isn't colored in panel 3.

Everything was fine at the time all the general attendees went home, but by the time we'd collected all the cargo together and done breakdown, it was coming down in buckets. They played with me harshly: "What, again...?"

Reader-added tags include "Your usual rain-(wo)man mode, eh, Kogasa-san", "Shrewd keeping up of your guard, Flan-chan", and "Osatou-san's casually there".

The survey focuses on the bright side of what's to come:

    What meat shall we eat?!
    • Beef
    • Pork
    • Poultry
    • Horse
    • Sheep

I'm fairly certain that is actually Osatou-san that Flan's using to shield from the rain.

But if you look closely at Flan in the third panel, she's using osatou as an umbrella, not Kogasa's umbrella tongue.

The 3rd panel isn't a tongue, that is another character right? I spotted eye there...

Osatou-san's being casually used as an umbrella...

For the poll, beef is the only correct choice.

Everyone may be used to your rainwoman abilities, Kogasa-san, but don't expect them to forgive you for it.

Ah, true, there's the eye and mouth. Guess she switched just because.

    As for the poll....
Beef. Always beef. No exceptions, unless bacon is involved.

I guess, when Kogasa moved, she just grabbed the next most convenient thing.

The poll is evil today, you can't just make someone choose between meats!
Nah, just kidding, just eat all of them

I thought horse was a stringy meat.

Stringier meats tend to be more flavorful. Well, more gamey at least.

Meats I've tried and can recommend:
Rabbit, snake, alligator, ostrich, emu, buffalo, etc.

I can concur on both alligator and emu. They're both pretty good (and, although it might sound cliche, alligator really does taste mainly like chicken, though it is a bit tougher).

Ooooh, rabbit is DELICIOUS with a certain sourcream and onion based sauce I cannot remember the name or recipe of off the top of my head. Especially when allowed to marinate. All the ostrich meat I've had was pretty tough though. Might not've been cooked right though. Buffalo's good-you want a real treat, make yourself a buffalo burger and add your choice of toppings. How does emu compare to ostrich, by the way? And where did you get to try snake?

Alpaca and Cui are pretty good too, I should add. Alpaca tastes kinda like steak, while cui has a unique taste that's quite good-a bit similar to chicken. Sadly, there's not a lot of meat on one of those. Elk is also delicious if you can get some.

I want fr- okay, just some grasshoppers. I might get killed by someone if I finish the first one.

Anyway, is Flandre using Osatou as an umbrella?

Emu has a slightly lighter taste than ostrich, but if you can get your hands on an ostrich egg for breakfast you are in for one hell of a good meal. I ate fried snake at small country carnival 17 years ago.
    Kangaroo meat is cholesterol free.

I wonder if there's much difference in taste between different kinds of snakes (e.g. king snakes vs. hognose snakes vs. garter snakes).

I tried a buffalo buger once, but it didn't taste any different from beef. In retrospect, I should've tried a steak, but I was trying to save money.

You're sure it was real buffalo? At least some of the time, what's sold is actually a hybrid of bison and beef cattle which is appropriately known as beefalo. We have a farm nearby though, so we can get the meat direct from the source, and can be fairly confident in what we're buying. It is a bit of a trip though.

    But horse meats are awesome!
Those muscles really makes them springy, but if cooked right it'll be easier to eat. I've eaten some of those, mainly snake, rabbit, and deers, but I can assure you horse meat got those beat.
    No idea about buffalo though.
