I agree with Ballos. Chespin was my favorite starter because its design was so unique. I am disappointed of how it evolved.

Chespin has evolved into Chestnut (my 1st thought when I saw it on serebii)

The Chespin evo depicted here looks... nothing like the one shown by Serebii. Its supposed to be more round and cuter than this... monstrosity.

Chespin evo is cute, it's just that this artist can't draw it, and thus is looks like shit in this picture. Look at the official art, it's not that bad.

Judging from the news, it looks like Chespin's final evo will be Grass/Ground, Fennekin's will be Fire/Psychic, and Froakie's looks like pure Water, though I wouldn't discount Water/Fighting, especially how its second evo looks like its about to get into a gang brawl.
