The insignia on their collars indicates they are part of German forces. The leftmost girl is an SS-Untersturmfuhrer The girl with the eyepatch looks like an SS-Hauptscharfuhrer The 3rd is an SS-Sturmmann the rightmost os an SS-Mann
(Er, my previous post was meant to say "specifically nazi insignia", of course.)
I agree with the -Untersturmfuhrer, -Hauptscharfuhrer, -Sturmmann and -Mann parts, but I just can't see the trademark runic "SS" in their right collar tabs. It's definitely a different symbol, though I don't know what it's meant to be.

I don't think it's french, ö or ä are very unlikely to be french. Anyways, post #80723 might be clearer if anyone wants to decipher it, I personally gave up.
The weaponry is all German as well. 3 MG-42's, though one being fed with a drum, which is odd, but feasible. There's also an FG-42 on the far left. You can tell by the wooden grip location and rather long, square shape. The luger the girl on the left is wearing also makes sense.
Also, if you look to the far right, there's the standard belt and ammo pouches, but I'm a little confused, seeing as those ammo pouches are for a K-98, which doesn't show up in this picture.
Anyways, I agree with Redstar that is says "something Madchen"
The mg-42 isn't being fed by a drum. That canister is attached to the girls belt. YOu can actually see the ammo for the MG coming out to the right if you're looking at the picture. most of it is obscured by the barrel though.
As to the K98 ammo puch, the MG-42, FG-42 and the K98 all used the same caliber round, so maybe it's just spare ammunition?
The round item in question carried by the girl with the FG42 and P08 Luger is a "Gasmaskenbüchse" (Gas Mask Case) for the M30 and M38 Gas Mask, part of the standard equipment of Wehrmacht soldiers throughout World War II.
Looks like he moved the SS cuffband to the stocking top, and has created his own unit collar insignia (a woman holding a pistol in each hand as far as I can tell)
