The "LUCKY" sign on that paper bag is something like a secret password known among Thai people that it's a trademark for prostitute, from the past though. These paper bags are really popular back then, it's often have a checkered pattern screened on, or maybe other pattern, but it must have the "LUCKY" word on it.
That place is call "Sanam Luang(สนามหลวง)", it's in Bangkok. The news said that back then when there's a red shirt mobs at Sanam Luang, these girls have to handle 45 hot battles over a single night. They'll be under the jackfruit tree, for so long that people remembered and called them 'Jackfruit Ghost(ผีขนุน)'.
But that's just a story of the past, though.
