Ohhhhhhh, those good old times when i played that game (the original of course) it was really hard.
It wasn't hard, it just used bad/lack of control mechanics while demanding quick/precise/accurate timing. (Pretty much every level that required the player to "dig" using exploding Lemmings but lacked the "stand still" command was an exercise in frustration.)
