Hi

This is a piece I did for a cover for the recent issue of ImagineFX magazine featuring some material on Syd Mead, the industrial designer who worked on Blade Runner. I was asked to paint an image paying homage to Syd Mead and his design work for the movie.

The magazine includes a step-by-step that I wrote. In the process I used some stock photography from mjranum-stock ([link]) for pose and lighting reference. Marcus graciously gave me permission to have the reference photo reproduced in the article. I haven't received my comp copy of the magazine yet so I haven't actually seen the writeup.
