I remember reading a manga that showed deep love and affection by licking off the tears of a loved one. Not directly from the eye but the tears that run down like one the cheek or the corner of the eye.
But the act of licking a loved one's tears mean to accept and share the pain, joy, and sorrow that comes with it. It also has the other physical meaning of allowing someone within your close personal space.
Licking the eye it self is kinda far but something like kissing the running tears is cute.
