I recently went to a sketch jam with my buddy, and I sketched out some quick sketches of sailor moon. :D (Big Grin)

She's my childhood hero, and it feels good whenever I draw her. Like I'm being a kid again. haha. I guess I'm always a kid at heart, but to draw her ease me up again; to know that art is still for fun. :) (Smile)

I wanted to draw her in a more futuristic style. Her suit is almost like an armor, and she's more reserved now (boo no more panty shot. lol). Her bow in the back is actually a hologram. Giggle

yup! floating through the night like an digital butterfly. I actually like her wearing the mask, because it made more sense than a tiara hiding her identity. lol If you read the manga, Sailor Moon actually had other weapons; like her feather like hair pieces are throwing knives and she had supersonic hair buns. I tried to interpret all of those into a more futuristic look, her hair piece along with her chest piece. Her hair bun weapon before was cool, but I wanted to go against the original look and made it more simplicstic with a red line. Instead of a pretty bow on her chest, it's just in the shape of it. The two hair dangles at the end of her hair are actually to repel enemies from attacking her if she does this: <a wytiwyg="1" wytiwyg="1" href="www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi1p-C…>link I was going to have her have a hologram skirt, but it didn't fit her silhouette.
