Many Touhou pictures/stories explore the concept of long-lived characters vs. short-lived characters, i.e. the Tragedy of Long Life.
None of them are short-lived, though. All of them are ageless or have the potential and near-certain probability of becoming so.
Touhou in general is about rejection of impermanence. So, things like this are just forcing melodrama into where it doesn't belong for the sake of cheap self-gratification.
In essence that "Tragedy of Long Life" in touhou is no different than those grimdark or hentai fanworks of it. They completely go against the spirit of the series.

There are several mortals in the games. Reimu, Marisa and Sakuya being the main ones. Claiming everyone's ageless is a baseless and stupid thing to say. ZUN doesn't age the characters up because A) he's a terrible artist, and he can't make subtle changes and B) he can't be arsed to either since he's busing doing everything else in the games by himself as well.
As we've seen in almost every other post you make where you're not being an idiot and wishing death on people. you're wrong. so stop it.

I agree with you about the fandom and the godmoding and such etc. but if you may think that all of them are truly immortal i think you are wrong. They are immortal in a sense they don't age or age extremely slowly but they can still die this is proof in other series that take yokai serious they can age eventually but obviously that may not apply in Touhou. The only exceptions that are truly ageless are Mokou ,Kaguya they can't die like them being cut , stab etc. They have regen abilities same with the Vamp girls but their regen ability may not be as fast as the other two and there is the sunlight , the goddesses as well but stop giving them faith and they will fade away probably worse then death , the human girls but hey we don't know how will like a serious beam of energy that can disintegrate someone body entirely like on the likes of Kaguya , Mokou , Vamp sisters will do ,probably will kill them for good bc i don't see them coming back from nothingness that is BS if so . Nobody dose serious damage in Touhou bc damanku is not lethal it doesn't do much damage only some bruises and cloths being tear apart and to be honest many character without damanku can be rely weak exp the humans ones and this is ZUN ,this is Touhou he will never kill off any characters. Maybe Gensokyo can make humans that live there age slowly bc if the plots of the game take place in the same year as when their are release then it make no sense way the human girls don't age as time passes they are forever 15 , 16 ,17 years old. Logically it will have to do with Gensokyo itself since ZUN doesn't say anything about it.
