Silence of the Bunnies is divided into two parts. I think you've probably seen both parts, 'though the ending is one of those mindscrewy kinds that can vary from bad to good to bittersweet depending on who you're asking.

Now that the whole thing's translated, I can see the ambiguity of the ending. For myself I shall choose to take it at face value, in which case it's about the best possible end you can expect given what happens. The alternatives are just too disturbing to contemplate, and this manga's disturbing enough. Let the Inabas have their bittersweet-but-hopeful end, they went through enough hell in this thing.
