I'm honesty a bigger fan of Misaka 10032 and Touma but Mikoto is a definite second.

And yeah, can you imagine her birthday presents from said aunts? 9969 presents...9970 IF you count Worst.

Even though Kuroko wouldn't approve of Touma, I doubt she would hate Mikoto's daughter with him.

It would take much courage from the author to end the series like this, instead of a general ending with no conclusions.

Just because fans wants the author won't change his mind and turn this into a romantic series something Index series hasn't been so far after 28 novels and on going.

The series doesn't have to turn "Romantic" to have official pairings. Would you call Dragonball a romantic seires? hell no, but it has official families and pairings.
