The artstile looks similar, nice find.

Unfortunately it's really hard to investigate or confirm anything since the artist has deleted his website/blog, as well as his twitter. And his pixiv is rather desolate too.
I hadn't found anything (informative) yet, but I'll try again later.

Note: Mirrors of his homepage, unfortunately they were purged just like the website lined from the artist entry.
