Finalized a design for a character I’ve had trouble settling on. This is Ayla Shamalu, an Oni-Blooded Tengu who was born into captivity as a slave to the Oni of the Fire Realm, later to be freed by Hanbei. She wears a blindfold to contain the Oni Blood Rage that triggers when she sees blood. She is the first student of Hanbei, wielding dual ring swords with her signature style “Mirage Dancer”, an elusive style that mimics the whimsy and ferocity of the desert winds.
