I do remember seeing in a doujin from Yohane where Chen mentioned how Ran has a different love towards Shou than what she has for Yukari. Maybe this is a call back to that?

Touhou - Aojou Chiji no Tose, but Shou doesn't appear in that dou. We must wait until the translations or search by the name of Blue or Yohane. --- Since, Lovely life with you and Each Time and Places Happiness, Im searching more about this artist.
PD: Searching for Johane instead Yohane helps too.
