The anime seems to have a habit of leaving out established pokemon characters for generic no-name rivals. I can't believe Cheren didn't debut from the beginning, in fact he would have been a better companion for Ash then Cilan. Caitlin is the only Elite Four member to appear so far; Shauntal, Marshal and Grimsley are nowhere to be seen. Of course, Touya and Touko were also omitted, and I'm surprised N just finally appeared.

Vote up from me. Touya and Touko are my favorite player trainers, I wouldn't want them in the shitty anime.

I've only watched a few episodes of the Black and White saga, so I wouldn't know much but it seems like Team Plasma is just starting to debut. Makes you wonder what Ash and co. been doing that whole time, huh?
