I don't know if those kids should be lucky or not. They can walk through crowds full of Youkai with a strap that says they are Suwako-sama's bento, but will that REALLY keep the Youkai away or make them eat them anyway with a deeper desire to eat the Goddess' lunch?

With how batshit crazy Suwako's been acting, I doubt most child-eaters would want to piss her off.
It wouldn't have been as much a gag, but it probably would have been better for Moriya's long-term public image to just say, "Property of Suwako - Do not touch on pain of ridiculously sadistic extermination." (You could probably more easily explain away the implication of child slavery than child eating...)
Plus it would be cute to have an image of yandere Suwako and "extermination mode" Sanae on there.
Nah, slaves are replaceable so that's still dangerous... taboos against cursed food are quite strong, though, there's no telling what could happen to you just for eating a curse god's food. You'd probably be wishing for sadistic extermination.
At least they didn't bring Kogasa, so they're only labelled cursed.
